You Make the Call (Part VI)

Q #6: With a count of 1 ball and 1 strike, the righthanded batter decides to hit from the left side. As the umpire, would you allow the batter to switch boxes with that count? Would you allow the batter to switch boxes if the count goes to 1 ball and 2 strikes?

A #6: The batter can switch boxes at any time, provided he does not do it after the pitcher is ready to pitch.
