The Warriors went undefeated in pool play in the Hickory Hills tournament after beating Worth by a score of 9-1 in seven innings on Thursday evening. The Warriors now advance to the championship game on Saturday morning.
Grant Lewis was recognized as the game's MVP for pitching four scoreless innings and for his two hits--including a double off the centerfield fence. Ronny Drabeck homered to left and made some outstanding defensive plays at first base in this one. Mike Rafferty closed the game--allowing just one run to score in the top of the seventh inning. Several other Warriors contributed to the offensive production in the game.
