The Warriors opened up the Orland Park tournament in impressive fashion--slaughtering Park Forest in five innings by a score of 18-1. In the second game of the evening, Elmhurst defeated Richton Park by a score of 11-5 in seven innings. Elmhurst and Orland Park are now on top of the Pool A standings with records of 1-0 and will face off against each other under the lights on Friday.
Pool B gets underway with two games on Wednesday night. Darien will play New Lenox on Centennial #6 at 5:45 pm, followed by the LaGrange versus Westside game at 8:00 pm.
