St. Joe's beat the Warriors by a score of 6-2 in the final game of the Lockport tournament.
Sam Marc threw three innings as the Warriors' starting pitcher and Zach Struzik gave the team two quality innings in relief. But, the offense was not able to generate enough runs. The Warriors had just six hits in the contest--Ryan Novak (2), Grant Lewis (2), Mike Rafferty (1) and Sam Marc (1). The Warriors also had a couple of runners thrown out on the basepaths--which was costly in a low scoring game.
The Warriors open up its final tournament (Orland Park) of the 2008 season on Tuesday.
