Looking for Volunteers

UPDATE: We now plan to hold off on coordinating a food/beverage activity until one of the later tournaments in July. The Midlothian site has very little space for any outdoor activities and there are several fast food restaurants located within easy walking distance of the field. Any player/family can meet at one of these locations for lunch between games on Saturday if they wish.

The Warriors are looking for volunteers to help with this Saturday's tournament event. The team has both a morning and afternoon game that day in Midlothian and, if possible, we would like to have food and beverages at the field for the team between games.

Hopefully, we can get a volunteer or two to help with the following:

• Coordinate a food order (maybe pizza, chicken or sandwiches)
• Pack a cooler of beverages
• Collect contributions for players/parents interested in participating (the cost should be minimal)

As the season progresses, we will be looking for volunteers for a few more activities. During tournament season, we will ask a player to bring beverages (fill a cooler) to the game for the team. Since we play about 15 tournament games in July, this responsibility can rotate throughout the entire team.

Also, the Warriors will be hosting the Orland Park tournament in late July for the 12U brackets. We will be looking for some volunteers to help coordinate the tournament activities: distributing game balls, collecting scores, updating the brackets, announcing games, etc.
