Practice Schedule

Our team's first practices will be held Saturday, June 2nd from 9:00 until 11:00 am at Humphrey #2 and Sunday, June 3rd from 9:00 until 11:00 am at Humphrey #2. Moving forward, most of our practices will be held on weekdays (at 4:00 pm) and will be shorter in duration--typically 75 minutes. The objective of the June practices is to review the basic fundamentals of the game.

I've requested a schedule of the tournament games for July--and I'll post that information as soon as I receive it. I've been told that our team is registered for four tournaments during July. The team is guaranteed a minimum of three games in each of these tournaments.

"Full time" players may participate in most of the tournament games. "Rotating" players will share roster spots with each other and will also replace full time players who are unable to participate on a given day.

Team Website

Please be sure to check our team's website for the most current information about the OYA Travel Team. This site will be updated frequently.

We plan to communicate with you primarily through this site---so, we will not be making any phone calls throughout the season. You will probably want to save this website as a "Favorite" or to set it up as a "Desktop Shortcut" for easy access.

Our team has three goals for the season. In youth baseball, success cannot be measured based only on a team's win-loss record. However, we demand that players strive to win at all times. We take accomplishing these goals very seriously and constantly check our progress in these three areas.

Please call me (Glenn Nagel) at 708-349-1467 with any questions or comments.
